Civic Center

The Civic Center project transforms one of Denver’s most historic parks into an inclusive, accessible, and culturally vibrant public space. The redesign updates the Greek Theater and surrounding landscape to support modern performances, improve circulation, and enhance everyday use while preserving the site’s historic character.

Aschermann Consulting provided utility design and stormwater treatment investigation, incorporating integrated systems such as grass buffers and underground treatment to meet MS4 requirements. The team coordinated closely with landscape design to ensure the park remained functional for accessibility, event access, and maintenance while preserving a welcoming public space. Utility design included water, storm, and sanitary systems, along with coordination of site electric, fiber, and irrigation infrastructure.
